no this isn't a commercial for the pistachio. it's my way of offering a goodie to a guest. if you come to my house there will always be something to eat. really. i will always have a dish of some sort to offer you. whether it is nuts... candy... cookie... pastry. that's just how i feel about a home. you should always have a little something for someone. i think that's another way of making someone feel welcomed. of course it may be difficult to walk past it twenty times a day... but still you should make the effort. i have friends that walk in and can go straight up to a jar full of homemade chex mix and if i place a couple of coffee mugs next to it... they can at least make a good snack out of it. and i couldn't be happier... watch and see what happens when you have a dish of some sort to offer...
